Health Plan of San Mateo Selects HEALTHsuite®
from RAM Technologies to Replace Amisys Software
FORT WASHINGTON, PENN. – May 20, 2008 – RAM Technologies, Inc., a leading developer of software solutions for healthcare payers is pleased to announce that the Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) has selected the HEALTHsuite® enterprise administrative application and the eHealthsuite™ web portal to replace a legacy Amisys system. The Health Plan of San Mateo will utilize RAM’s advanced solutions to administer benefits for the Medi-Cal, Medicare Advantage and other at risk populations of San Mateo County.
HPSM serves San Mateo County in providing health care coverage as a County Organized Health System. Benefit plans include: CareAdvantage, a Medicare Advantage Special Needs Plan, Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids, HealthWorx, and the San Mateo County ACE Program — a partnership with the San Mateo County Health Department and San Mateo Medical Center to provide health coverage for all adult uninsured County residents.
